Taken with a Pentax MG 35mm camera that I used while I was in Collage . I love the use of shadow and the richness of color. but what do you think?

Picture Of The Day (Player)

This is a picture that just makes me smile I'm drawn to taking pictures of toys. There's something about toys that grabs my attention.  Maybe it makes me feel young again. Thats why I make them close ups to give the feeling that your small, Not the toy. I'm always looking for colorful, interesting toys to shoot. What do you think?

Picture Of The Day (Day Dream)

Here is a picture I took this summer, I call it "Day Dream" because it looks dream-like to me. I used a Graduated filter to tone down the sky and I used some other "post processes" to the picture to give it this foggy dream like feeling. What do you think of it?

Picture of the day (Cage)

This is a picture I took this last summer, It was taken at the St. Louis Botanical Garden. I shot it with my Canon 40D with my 28-105mm lens. I used Aperture and the plug-in Nik Silver Efex Pro to make it a Black&white. If possible use a program that was made for making black&Whites most photo editors just chop out allot (about half) of the data when you convert to black&white. I really like nik software, if you get a chance try a free trialAdd Image.  I like the the composition of this picture, I went back and forth on making it color or black&white, I'm glad I went with the black&white I think it works better.  What do you think?

Photo Of The Day "Grimace"

Add ImageThis is a picture I took about a week ago I have been playing around with light. I tried bouncing it off of a mirror, i found it to have a nice mix between Harsh/diffused light. I used my Slik Tripod using my wireless trigger remote to capture this image. i used the (live mode) feature on my 40D to set up the composition. Thats were bouncing it threw a mirror comes in handy. Please tell me what you think. -jay-
